Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklift units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck offering great height and versatility. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to lift the load to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard forklifts aren't able to move the cargo towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is used for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A lift platform which is meant to raise staff is known as a Man Basket. It attaches to the forklift forks and a strap or chain is used to attach the basket to the lift truck carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
